107.3 The Eagle - The Alleged Classic Hits Station

I hope Q105 and all the CBS stations succeed. CBS makes at least some effort to sound like professional radio stations as I remember them. But then I don't count.

The 'format' may be similar, but oh God does q105 sound forced...same ol' drop ins, stupid laughs...and I've stated before they're screwing with the music (changing pitch by half - keys, cutting out some bridges of tunes of lesser known bands, and now bailing out on cold endings ("Hold The Line-Toto") Seriously?

Honestly, as voice tracked as WJQB has to be, at least Shannon has it down pat...though when he's gone, the subs sound like their vt session for Scott has run long, they're late for their next gig, and they're double parked...

Nick Van Cleeve is getting blow back for being too liberal. Actually, Cox could take the airstaff on 101.5, change their names, and VT them on the Eagle.

Same reason Cox probably let Corey Dylan go, way too Pro-Choice/ Liberal for Cox's cluster. Its not just that but Corey will be honest about her left-leaning opinions over the air. Like actually getting in discussions with her listeners about extending the social safety net. What does Bubba do, he goes on racist rants and threatens people over the air.

Yes, I've said what others don not want to hear. I've listened to Bubba and heard about all I can hear of his radio career. Including when he defamed a cross-town radio personality by calling him a homosexual who has AIDS.

So now Corey Dylan is part of a conservative show on WFLA. At least she is working which is more that can be said for other people downsized out

I'm not hearing her political views. It has been said she is liberal, so far, I haven't heard or had any indication of that or on her facebook page.

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!
