I agree. 107.9 has more a rhythmic sound to it.

Yeap Clear Channel flipped 102.9 to a more Adult Top 40 and Univision flipped 107.9 to a Bilingual Top 40. That really put a damper in CBS plans. They had Top 40 years ago at 100.3 and they had the Movin format on 107.5. Wouldnt it have been easier to tweak Movin for CHR?

It would've been easier. In SF CBS tranisitioned MOViN 99.7 to 99.7 NOW.

And in Seattle too Movin 92.5 moved into a CHR direction after the Rhythmic AC format faded. As well as Movin 100.7 in Salt Lake before flipping to Rewind.
