I hear this every time I'm in the Frankfort area..curuious if this is a pirate or legitimate LPFM. They were doing some kind of "live from London" show one Friday afternoon.
The licensee of the Frankfort station has a construction permit from the FCC to build
and operate a translator on 107.5 in Zionville Indiana. But I am sure WSHW wouldn't
be testing their new equipment in this manner in Frankfort.
Went by the Frankfort exit on I 65 Sunday on my way back to Lafayette.
Didn't hear a thing on 107.5. Must be low power or off. gr8oldies, you
sure get around!
I have heard this station too.
It's website shows its set-up and it is a part 15 operation, it says they have multiple transmitters, relaying signal. I'd say since they send over the web too that relays are done via the web streams.
Pretty neat selection of tunes and live content.
I have been looking into the part 15 thing myself, kinda cool. Lot of work involved though.
So download whatever they tell you and keep trying?
By the way, my stomach sank when I saw the "currently playing" said "Smoke on the Water".
They are going to go "underground" or "eclectic" and play that stuff? Say it ain't so, Joe!!
You've got a chance to play some really "out there" music, don't blow the chance!
I don't know what I need to make it work. I'm so used to punching up something and the Media Player launches it that I become a monkey trying to figure out how to get the banana when it DOESN'T work.
Yeah, to each his own on the tunes. I hear you on that.
But "Smoke" was only enjoyable the FIRST 8000 times I heard/played it.
Now it's just a 10khz tone to my ears when it comes on.
I MAYBE get through the first "dun dun duuuuuuuh" guitar intro before I hit the dial.
