Looks like Combined Communications is putting a new signal in Central Oregon on 107.7 FM licensed to Prineville. Heard a rumor that it would be an FM simulcast of KBND 1110, but I don't know if there's any truth in that. Anyone know when the new stick will be fired up?
It's a Class C2, 740 watts @ 581 meters above average terrain. It was granted on August 8th. 70dbu coverage includes Prineville and Redmond. Bend is within the 60dbu contour.
Thanks...I can read the FCC database, too. What I asked was if anyone knew when the stick would be "fired up" or when it would go on the air. Not what the engineering details were.
The calls for the new station have been revealed...KWXS...which seem totally boring an uninsightful...Guess it's just a waiting game to know what they're up to.
