How is KRXO sounding these days? I havin't listen to them since July 29,2004.I been listening to 100.5 The KATT and 96.9 BOB FM. One of these days they are going to turn KRXO into a Rock station where they going to play new songs too from artist today. Classic Rock will so be gone one of these days, not now. Just one more question. Are any station thinking to get rid of morning shows and just voice track just the mornings?

Aren't they already? It might be 300 songs, but it IS rock they play.

I doubt it.. seriously. The format may progress, but it'll be quite some time before you'll hear today's artists @ 107.7.

ALL formats will be gone at some point. My guess is it'll be about 15 more years or less and Classic Rock will either have to morph into more modern stuff or be replaced by other formats.

I would welcome intense music in the morning opposed to the crappy MOURNING shows they exist in this town. The best is only tolerable here.

Judging by the stellar ratings that most of these piped-in MOURNING shows have, .. "Does not compute. Does not compute. Does not compute."

Damn, crow sure is tasty!

Looks like the robot morning show is doing pretty good after all. Welcome to Arbitron, the world's most inaccurate ratings system.
Since both KRXO AND KQOB went up fairly significantly, I'd say this must be a good book for Classic Rock/Hits.
 
Man I think KRXO is about to hit the titanic and drown. They are running off the good people over there. Renda has really screwed up this time.
 
From what I understand both of them aren't exactly setting the world on fire these days. KRXO would be ahead of KQOB, mainly due to all the format shifting and the loss of the Lisa and Ron morning show. It will take time for Bob to recover, if it can. (too much consultant dinking in the past)
