107.7 pirate in Olneyville now at higher power

From my experience driving around, this 107.7 Spanish pirate seems to orginating from Olneyville. It seems to be strongest along Plainfield St. right down to the intersection of Plainfield St., Manton Ave., and Hartford Ave. right in the center of Olneyville. In that area, it scans on the car radio and totally knocks out Kiss 108 from Boston (107.9). When it first went on a few weeks ago, it had a fairly decent signal in Johnston. Now it is loud and clear in Johnston and playing mostly Spanish music, with some American and French thrown in. It even scans on the car radio in parts of Johnston near Olneyville. It is broadcasting in mono with a slight humming sound in the background that can be heard when no music is playing. There are no djs or ids. <P ID="signature">______________

Curly: Or a phoney at the mike!

Moe: Quiet numbskulls I'm broadcastin'!
