So when the station is finally on the air, given what formats are in the male and female realms, and where the money potentially is, what could the format be?
I'm certain this won't happen, but I'd love to see an '70s-'90s oldies-based Urban Adult station on 107.7. Not every Urban partisan above the age of 25 wants to hear the incessantly thugged out material on 106.9.
I'd like to see 107.7 carry an Urban AC format as well, but chances are I don't think Connoisseur Media will do such a format. I can see them putting a Adult Hits format a la Bob-FM the format that was abanonded by 106.9 for Urban. If an Urban AC format does come on in Omaha mostly likely it would be carried on 106.9 on an HD-2 channel if they ever do such a format.
The last thing Omaha needs is another FM stick. Still, the glaring hole in the O/CB radio spectrum at the moment is FM Talk (or News-Talk). It's happening all over the country. See Phoenix, Indy, New Orleans, DC...
