Seriously? Suggesting someone pay for content created by someone else makes them that? Honoring the terms of service they agree to when they become a paid subscriber to a site makes them that? Are you for real
You're a **** by saying that
And more domains... I thought there's enough Spanish stations in Sac but l could be wrong.
Though "Punk Country" on an HD-2...

My thoughts are with the people who are affected by these horrific fires in Northern California.Casual Observation:
KFBK seems to be positioning themselves now as “Sacramento’s News Radio”. Prior they have been using “News 93.1”. Could be nothing.
They are also notifying listeners the Caldor Fire is threatening their transmitter and the FM signal may be lost in the upcoming days. It sounds like they plan on temporarily simulcasting on 92.5.

Both the transmitters of KFBK-FM and KVMX-FM are at risk.
I think most people still listen to KFBK on AMCasual Observation:

I was under the impression that AMs that simulcast on a full-signal FM quickly find all but their oldest listeners moving to the FM. That's certainly the case when sports-formatted stations do so, so why would news radio be any different?I think most people still listen to KFBK on AM
True. Majority of radio listeners under 50, don't know AM even exists.I was under the impression that AMs that simulcast on a full-signal FM quickly find all but their oldest listeners moving to the FM. I've been gone a year and a half, but well over half the audience was listening on FM. I doubt that's changed other than to increase.I think most people still listen to KFBK on AM

A good example of a well reasoned transition to FM was made by KSL more than a decade ago. They started with "KSL 1160 and 102.7" and then gradually inverted to the FM first and after several years they went with 102.7 only.I've been gone a year and a half, but well over half the audience was listening on FM. I tuned in at Yellowstone a few years ago. It's a monster. You're right about the Voltair.I listen up here in Alaska on 1530... lol. its the most distant signal thats also consistently reliable. Some nights it pounds in so strong and clear, I can tell Sacramento is a PPM market because that metallic echo from PPM Encoding equipment and Telos' Voltair is present.
KFBK did essentially the same, dropping all mention of the AM....I wanna say three years ago.A good example of a well reasoned transition to FM was made by KSL more than a decade ago. I am assuming that they traced the AM and FM usage, and adjusted when the time was right for the full transition to FM.
