107.9 Radio H2O..? Is this a new pop station?

Is this new? I just got my car back from a service call & all of the presets were gone. One of the default stations is 107.9. I noticed Flo-Rida palying so I stuck around to hear the station identify itself as 107.9 Radio H2O. Is this new, or has it been around & I just never noticed? The seem to be playing your typical CHR heavy rotation songs with no commercials, so I assume it's new..

It has been around for a couple of weeks now.... A Univision station that plays English dance songs with English tags at the the end of each song... English speaking Hispanic jocks with commerceials in Spanish. Got it? I certainly don't. ???

Man, I'm confused. Here's what I know after listening for the past day: (and I'm a white dude) I like the music. It sounds like any other typical CHR station. It doesn't seem to "favor" a Latino flavor since I heard Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, and One Direction a few times. The liners (song i.d's) are in English, so I know who sang them. The commercials are in Spanish, so it's easy to tune them out since I'm not bilingual...

No need to be confused BP, your exactly right. As far as WHY they do it, I dont think anyone else has figured that out either.

Radio 107.9 was good when it first launched but the music has gotten stale. The playlist seems like it hasn't been updated in weeks. I believe this station has become secondary to the peeps running the station in S.A. Not real surprised considering The Beat in SA is now competing with 3 other stations in the market.

I do enjoy the station, I also don't understand the Spanish Commercials right after One direction stops playing..I have noticed though that if I listen to this station long enough and then turn to another station, such as Jack or Kiss etc..I half expect to hear the female liner voice to pop up with artist and title info :p

My YouTube link is a TV commercial(?) that explains everything. Or maybe it's promotional material to explain it to potential advertisers.
