107.9 The Link New Logo?

Apparently, The Link is going to be debuting a new logo in conjunction with tonight's SkyShow with sister station WBT. Attached is a photo of the van with the new logo already on it. Leaves a lot to be desired, IMHO.

If they were going to make a change, they should have changed their name. I can't hear "Lake" on 102.9 without thinking I'm hearing "Link".

With the PPM I don't think it really makes a difference anymore if you confuse "Link" and "Lake". A long time ago it was said that most people identified with dial position first so that might be why 107.9 is prominent. You know that station owners have a reason for everything they do, even if we don't know what it is (or agree with it).
