107.9?

Hey Fitzy,

I'm sure Holly is a great person, but I don't like the way she sounds - her voice cracks & she always sounds like she has a cold.

That's my "opinion".

My opinion is your comments are just plain mean spirited.

Now back to the origional topic....107.9.

With financing money getting tight all over, radio station values are expected to fall. I wonder if this will have an effect on Lincoln Financial's plan to sell their broadcast properties?

Yah, you have mentioned that before...don't listen..only advice I have for you. Can't change my voice, any more than you can change being you.

You're giving me an ulcer. Our buyout happens next Friday with a company that supposedly has a large line of financing to buy into larger markets all over the country. I felt secure in that. And now, you wreck it with reality.

Is there anybody even interested in buying at this time (other than our buyer)? It seems like all the bigs are selling and limited partnerships are buying which is like the junk bonds of radio operators.

Opinion??

AMFM: "You quit the Fox?..Are you honest enough to tell why?"
What were you trying to accomplish with that? LOL.

Your "view" and an "attack" are different things. Don't make one seem like the other.
The jabs are unrelated to the topic. It IS interesting who you DO go after though. Jeff Kent?

Please.

As you lectured to Holly-the radio business isn't easy. How many PD's have had a gig as long as JK?
Not many. Say what you want about the station programming. Go for it.

Jeff Kent has the respect of PD's. That's not opinion-it's fact.

"Fitzy" - "95"

Is "95" a freq. you used to work at?

My "view, opinion, & attack" are the same thing.

Didn't lecture Holly about the business not being easy.

Holly & I both know that.

Know alot of PDs' who have tenure as long or longer than Kent.

I'm not the only one posting constructive criticism about 99.7s' format, & you know it.

I know PD's that would loosen it up.

The problem is Clear Channel, not Jeff Kent. The Fox was a great station in the late 80's, early 90's.
Look at 106.5 before and after Clear Channel with the same PD.

--Fine. Your view loses value with the vigor of your attacks.

Didn't lecture Holly about the business not being easy.
--check out "lecture" in Websters

Holly & I both know that.
--You sure do know about Holly, how bad she is, and what she knows.
Know alot of PDs' who have tenure as long or longer than Kent.
--Awesome!
I'm not the only one posting constructive criticism about 99.7s' format, & you know it.
--I may know it, but does Holly know it?
Seriously, too much Mac. Jeff sucks, do the hair thing. We got it. let's move on.
I know PD's that would loosen it up.
--Awesome!!

You crack me up.

Yep, count me as a fan too Fitzy!

Holly is good people. She cares more than most about what goes on the air. She easy to work with and likes dogs. What more can I say?

Anybody who thinks a PD has the freedom to loosen up the format hasn't worked in corporate radio for about the last 20 years. PD's have to answer to regional PD's group PD's and consultants these days. Good luck with that!

Fitzy,

Are you a good Irish man?

Never did lecture Holly about the Radio biz being hard sometimes.

She said it was hard sometimes.

I said it is hard all the time, & that's not lecturing her, as you say.

Holly knows I'm not the only one posting constructive criticism about the Fox' programming.

Don't play mind games w/me.

You seem to have an answer for everything, don't you?

Like I said, let's move on...

Except for the last part...
"You seem to have an answer for everything, don't you? "
