1070

I think 1070 is back on in Greenville. I heard something that sounded like old country or southern gospel on there this afternoon and I see they are licensed by the FCC again (they had been licensed and silent) because they declined their request for another STA.

Wonder how much it would cost for them to hook a computer up to Dial Global standards, add the legal station ID and then go off and leave it?

Tried to listen today but couldn't get anything but static. I bet the old MW-50 thats been there forever isn't running anywhere near 50 kW to save on the power bill.

The strongest I got it was Friday, the rest of the time it's been very weak and seems to be off the air at times. But it's definitely WCSZ.

They have to be broadcasting due to their license status so it could just be 1kW and they are also very directional

Could be, I tried it on Woodruff Rd and heard nothing today. But shouldn't they be broadcasting something since they are currently "Licensed" by the FCC? There is no STA or anything, according to the FCC they should be broadcasting.
