1077 The Wolf Returns To Air

After being dark for 3 or 4 days WPFX 1077 The Wolf returned to the air Monday morning.. Rumors have been circulated which puts the high winds we experienced recently to blame for the loss of service. The STL antenna used to get a signal from the studio to the transmitter was damaged by the high winds taking the station off the air.

The format seems to be attracting listeners playing a large variety of "Classic Country". Internet radio and music sites have posted a news release from the station announcing the start of operations. One such release announced former K100 announcer Craig Snyder as the new program director.

Former WGAR/WNWV/WMJI Announcer Sandy Bennett is now on there.

Looks like its comming together, I dont think The Toledo Market is big enough for 3 country stations but we will see if 107.7 can make a dent. I think Toledo radio LLC may purchase another station somewhere down the road to sell with The Wolf.

Does the Bellevue station, 92.1 "The Wolf" come in in Toledo? If so, 2 "Wolves" in the same city.
