10pm news coming to WFFT

But they also better be putting this much effort into getting their transmitter situation all figured out and up to par ASAP.

Here's what I'm betting...WFFT will wait until the spring comes around before ANYBODY will get on that tower. Then they'll put something together that will give them HD coverage to (at the most) Allen County. When you've been held together with bubble gum and zip ties since they came on the air.
As for their news effort, well, if they come on and it's Steve Shine sitting in front of a wood panelled wall, I'll shoot my TV.

Please don't shoot your TV!

It isn't your TV's fault that 55's management (hypothetically) put Steve Shine in front of a wood paneled wall.

(btw, "paneled" has one "L" in the middle)

Sorry about my speling. heheheee.... ;D
If you looked at my TV you'd shoot it. (It's maybe 10 minutes from puking and I'm NOT fixing it.)

And I really don't care how, why, or who put Mr. Shine in front of the panel, I just don't want to see him there. If WFFT is going to do a newscast that draws viewers, then Stevie boy won't be there.

You're actually going to criticize spelling on the Internet? Man, take a step back from the keyboard every once in a while.

And Steve Shine won't have a part in the new Fox Fort Wayne news operation: the newscast will be anchored by Jim Blue, who was blown out of WNWO in Toledo last year by Barrington Broadcasting in a cost-cutting move. He'll also serve as news director.

So far, no word on whether the wood paneling will be involved.

Great. If only I could see it. Saw the digital signal for about 3 minutes the other night, then nothing. But, hey, I'm only 3 miles away. Whaddya want?

Hunh. Wonder if that's the same Jim Blue I used to watch on WNDU in South Bend in the '70s. Can't be very many Jim Blues running around out there.
