It's quite obvious they don't give a rat's poop. Quality means nothing..takes too much time, it's too expensive

Sounds like a traffic issue and some bad production more than an automation problem.

This just sounds like more of a traffic issue than an automation issue. some advertisers want their spot played twice in the same stop set, although i doubt this close together.

The station's where I work, if we are fully booked, we do "Top n Tail" breaks for clients if their spots exceed the breaks available, or if there is more than one client in that catagory and space is limited.
 
So tht's why you play the exact same spot almost back to back??that explanation makes no sense, but that's your story and you're sticking to it.

Also from listening I find it very hard to believe you're sold out, but again. see above.

Hmmm scotch. It seems that you do listen to more than just Beck on 96.5. Do you remember when you said this about their bad automation: "It happened all last week during Beck and overnight"? It was on March 5 when you posted it.

Listening to Beck AND overnights? Do you have a job?

Possibility

Trafficked under names of services, not knowing what the actual spots will be. For example, two barter minutes, each running the same :30, biggybacked with different :30's, would produce the same result.
 
The Traffic explanation has merit. Assume the station is running a contract with "in-show" and "out-of-show" barter. The first are sent down the line from the originator. The second are trafficed locally.
