I saw the first installment of the 11 Alive Bullfighters last night and couldn't stop laughing. There was Jeff Hullinger, standing out in the blazing sun in a black suit in front of the 11 Alive "Bullfighters" van. He explained the concept that Ted Hall had breathlessly introduced (it's just your basic political truth-o-meter), then we got a look at the "Bullfighters" in action. There was zero depth thanks to the time constraints of local news, so what we have is a new feature that was both poorly named and executed.
Maybe they'll get better, but I just can't take them seriously if they're going to be running around calling themselves "bullfighters."
Next thing you know, they'll have Hullinger doing live shots in toreador pants.
