While not familiar with the songs on the list, Im sure the Ida Marie song is just absolute trash! That's just crass nonsense. Where's the intellect in todays music? Where are the great songwriters? There are some out there, but overall not too many. We really need a singer songwriter movement to encompass all genres.

No singer-songwriter movement necessary. We already have plenty of them on MySpace.

Also, can we stop with these "Things today just aren't like they were back in the ol' days, maaaaaannnn" ideologies?

That Ida Maria song is rather bad, just for the record...

How about some love for Bon Iver and the song Blood Bank....any alternative stations spinning that one?

Also where did this Coldplay song come from? Are they done pulling singles that are actually from the album? I think Lovers In Japan would sound great on the radio.

WFNX has been spinning Lovers In Japan in heavy rotation the past few months along with all the others. Life In Technicolor II is basically a reworking of the original version on the album that is instrumental, re-released as a single w/vocals.
