But, honestly 1100 is just bad.

11:30 news break today, they repeated last Wed's marketwatch talking about how the Dow is doing today (er...last week) on the last trading day of the year.

Come on....7 day old market quotes? Play dead air, its less damaging to your reputation.

Such a terrible waste of the airwaves.

There are plenty of unemployed, talented N/T people here in the market, and we'd all be willing to take Arizona Minimum Wage with no benefits just to get back in. Since coming here, I am amazed that a market of 5 million has so many Brokered, Religious, and Syndicated stations w/ virtually no local talent (1100, 1480, 1510, etc. etc.). KFNX has the benefit of serving the north valley at night where the other stations from parts south don't do as well at night. And they are 50kW day. Can they bring back Charlies Goyette (sorry, is it Guyette?).
