1150WAVO News

1150WAVO's hourly Salem Radio Network (SRN) News name has been changed to TownHall.com

They have a new news sounder on the top of the hour.

The same newscasters are there, but they don't say what city they're broadcasting from (usually, it was Washington DC).

In 2006, TownHall was acquired from Salem Communications.

TownHall.com is part of the Salem Web Network.

Salem Communications is the leading US radio and Internet broadcaster reaching audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values.

Don't scare me like that. My first thought was the entire format had been changed to Town Hall.

How's the fund-raiser going? I don't get a good enough signal to be able to tune in at home.

They're at $8400.00, & need $15,000.00 for their broadcast music licensing fees or $18,000.00 if they want to stream on the net by the end of Sept.
