I think trying to concentrate on Northern Kentucky listeners might work. There is sometimes the temptation to include Cincinnati since it's so close.

You include Cincy as its the larger pop base. Maybe the the folks in Dry Ridge should buy it.

They already tried it about 20 years ago - it doesn't work!!!

Did they simulcast 106.5 on 1320 for awhile?

I remember them owning 1160 for awhile as WKYN and it was sports, and before that as a day timer on 1180 as strictly a Florence KY station as WFKB. WFKB started with a country format and they had Jack Reno which was short lived before going to an AC format if I can recall correctly.

Yes, my buddy John Pierce built it. 1KW at 1180. W... Florence Kentucky Broadcasting...

I thought I heard 1160 in Atlanta underneath WYLL this afternoon. WCFO is 50kw daytime.

I heard IMUS this morning at 7:50 AM here in Downtown Columbus. That must be 1160 in Atlanta.
Hurry up and DX the frequency before 1160 gets back to the air in Cincinnati.

It sure isn't WYLL...

Hearing a open carrier here in Columbus. When will programming start on 1160?

I highly doubt that is WQRT.
We'll start promos tomorrow but not run a full day.

Everything will be up at 6AM on Friday.

Did you start early? I'm already hearing programming. Heard some at three this morning, also.

Running a two hour promo loop.

The real deal starts first thing in the AM.
