Since 1160 is getting ready to dump the jammin oldies for talk this month, it would be nice to hear what Radio One's talk format sounds like.
Edited by JamzUSA on 03/07/06 02:52 PM.

Why would they change that format? What kind of talk are they going with?

Based on my attempts to get someone at First Broadcasting to talk to me about any board-op position availability and FB's track record, I wouldn't count on there being any local jobs or hosts other than the morning show. Probably going to be the standard line-up of syndicated talking heads.
Which ones are not in the market now? Take those that aren't and there is your line-up.

Face it -- First Broadcasting isn't much of an operations company. There expertise is in upgrading and flipping stations, not in operating them. And while there can be no disputing that they do those upgrades and station flips very well, I suspect that they are otherwise a rather poorly run company.
