1170 WCXN Claremont NC - Into the night

1170 WCXN, ID'ing as "La Que Buena" as so many other MX ss stations, has been running a bit late on their daytime only signoff (if they ever do). I assume that they are running their 7.7KW day power.

Tuned in for 20 minutes between 8:20 PM & 9 tonight, and the signal was very strong but subject to deep fading. Posters on several sites have reported WCXN on past daytime signoff since November.

If you haven't already logged them, this is your chance.

This station has been running at night for months. It comes into Central Kentucky like a local all night and overnight. WWVA must love it! Can't believe it still continues...

I noticed a very strong Mexican during early evening hours in Pittsburgh while WWVA
was rebuilding their towers and running at reduced power. I thought it was a 500kW
station way down in central Mexico though.
