1180 and 1480

Sometimes a weak signal is stronger on an overpass; when WNWI 1080 was in Valparaiso, there is an overpass on Foster Avenue over the the Edens expressway where the signal went up by 6-10 db.
It could have to do with steel in the structure, but rebar is not generally anywhere near long enough to create anything more than a
poor faraday screen, which ought to be enough to explain the above.

It is in that same area, from that point to the west, where Foster meets the Kennedy expressway, that an "image" of WGN at 720,
appears at 920 khz, mixed "against" whatever it's called now on 820khz. No audio from 820 has ever been present, though...

No trace of 1480 is to be heard on the N side of Chicago, due to WOPA.
Coincidentally, right now on my part 15 is the (Chicago) 47th Street Polka Band with the "I walk the line" Polka.
