12 News Weather Friday Night?

Paula somebody did the weather. She looked younger than Rob Carlmark Is she a weather intern? Has 12 News totally lost it? If Jimmy Q was unable to do the weather, shouldn't they have called Rob or Sarah or Caribe? For goodness sake, Phoenix is a large market (not W Podunk). :eek:
 
Caribe had to get up very early to report from the Phoenix Open.

Why not save themselves some money and just have the anchor rip and read the weather? It's not like anyone couldn't do it. Or skip the wx entirely. Those of us OTA can dial up 12.2 anytime for a wx report and everyone else gets the Weather Channel.

The people in Ajo already know how hot it was there today and the rest of us don't care.

I did some extra digging. Paula whatshername is apparently a weather producer for 12 News. Given that we weren't having a weather crisis, she did an okay job but, for goodness sake, they 4 people on the weather team.

How much featherbedding is 12 gonna do? Apparently the down economy isn't affecting them a bit (even though not many people are watching).
 
Have you noticed how cheap they're hiring? Some of these VJ's are right out of school with very little experience. The new weather guy is from Montana (I believe). And we have a weather producer doing the weather during the OLYMPICS!!!

Apparently, 12 Stands for Local CRAP!!!
 
I think this has been going on for a long time, at least that's why I've been so negative on local news for a decade or two.
