1200's Facebook Page Has Changed - How Did They Do That?

Previously, the Facebook page for Rush Radio 1200 matched the station name.

But now I have come to find out that not only has the name of the page changed, but even the URL, to http://www.facebook.com/talk1200.

Facebook policy is that if your page has more than 100 fans, you are not allowed to change the title of your page. Also, once you register a username for your page, you cannot change it, period.

So how was Clear Channel able to get around this? And how can we simpletons accomplish this?

I don't know diddly about Facebook and I am decidedly not any kind of IT guru, but didn't you answer your own question? If the Web page has a new name and a new URL, why is there a reason to believe that Facebook should treat it as if it were a reincarnation of an existing page? Also, CCU has so many different corporate identities that, if there was a need for the new page not to be registered to the same corporation as the one that registered the original, there must have been close to 100 CCU-related corporations in whose name the new page could have been registered. Maybe this is obvious to me only because I don't understand the problem, but if so, I'd like someone who does understand the problem to explain why my explanation doesn't hold up.

the answer is easy. CC is a huge commercial organization. They have a business relationship with facebook. Therefore they get support you or I are not eligible to receive.
