1210 AM sold

I guess an AM station high on the dial is worth $1.4M in Sacramento. Kind of a complicated facility - with different daytime & nighttime sites and six towers. I admit that I don't fully understand it, but if you read the APA it LOOKS like the land with the nighttime site is included free. Interesting.

I assume the format will remain South Asian, just not "Radio Punjab" affiliation.

The daytime site has a 6-tower array that puts a potent signal northward into Folsom, Roseville, Yuba City, etc. The South Asian format targets those communities well.

The nighttime ND site isn't bad for 500 watts, covering the metro area well, especially Roseville/Rocklin area.

Family Radio owned 1210 for many years.

they cover the city better with 500W ND then 5kw/6 towers.

I wonder if it'd be worth it or possible to maybe try and move day ops to the night site, go 1kw non directional days ?

Get rid of what im sure is an expensive land lease
