When I was in New Orleans back in May, it was still off the air and I'm assuming it still is because a friend of mine just got a call to help them locate a 1,000 Watt Transmitter for 1230kHz....
I guess that station will be coming back on the air soon.
I also know KDLA is still for sale and according to a source close to them, the transmitter there is only 2 years old. However, I heard the rest of the building is in such horrible dis-repair that the City Of De Ridder wants to condemn it or at least they're thinking about it. I also heard Willis owes $25,000 in back rent on the station....
