Little Rock 1250 KFOG

I see where a request for reduced power in February followed by a silent STA request due to "transmitter damage" has been filed for KFOG. I had to laugh. I built that site in 1988 and drive by occasionally. It's been silent for years. Better late then never, I suppose.

One of the worst signals ever. Maybe not as bad as 1380 across the river. They need to just mail in the license. Nothing has ever worked since the KALO days of the 50's and there is no way to bring it back.

Yeah. We built it because the STA to diplex with 1440 was running out. It was supposed to be 6 towers at 5000 watts, but the owners kept cutting costs. I learned a lot from building that. But even built right it had a null right across the city. They would have done better staying at 600 watts non directional.
