1310 WGH playing 50s, 60's early 70s now

VARTV.com is reporting that Max Media plans to relocate the oldies format to the HD2 of sister station WGH-FM 97.3 The Eagle. VARTV.com has learned an Urban AC lineup consisting of The Russ Parr Morning Show, The Rev. Al Sharpton Show, The D.L. Hughley Show and The Larry Elder Show will debut on WGH-AM 1310, possibly as soon as tomorrow (Thursday February 28th.)

Interesting concept. All African American hosts. Parr and Hughley are heard on Urban AC stations (although the hosts don't play much music). Rev. Al is on black talk stations, with liberal views, and also on Sirius XM Urban View 127. But Larry Elder is quite conservative, syndicated by Salem. He might be black but his views are not shared by most African American voters.

I haven't heard him lately, but I assume he's a Trump supporter, or at least has to support most of the president's agenda, if he's employed by Salem and heard mostly on Salem Talk stations. Elder had previously hosted afternoons on KABC in Los Angeles and now is based at Salem-owned KRLA 870 in LA.
