WQSC 1340 and their 98.5 FM translator in Charleston have changed formats today. They flipped from sports to a classic country format, 98.5 WQSC.
Classic country was formerly on Kirkman’s 950 AM signal until they changed formats a few years back. Kickin 92.5 plays it an hour a day, so perhaps they can siphon a few listeners who want the older country music.
910 AM and 94.7 has changed from ESPN’s feed to a mix of FOX and CBS programming, which was on 1340. ESPN Radio is now on 98.9 FM only. A new format is also getting launched on 92.1 FM, as they are a move-in which moved from Goose Creek to North Charleston, in order to serve more of the market.
