1340 AM signs on in Jackson

I new it was coming, but I noticed it on the air yesterday. Of course, it's "hometown radio" - the same thing that has been on htradio.net, the SCA of 94.3, and local cable channels for several years. The signal is dismal. It's listenable but not strong here in Pioneer, and it disappears into HD hash from KWSX around Clements. But it's great in Jackson, Pine Grove, and the surrounding communities. Once again, there's a local outlet for radio in the Highway 88 corridor, and I have to commend these folks for their dedication and service to the community. That's what radio is all about.
