1340 off frequency?

For several years, I've heard a hetrodyne (I'm guessing it's in the 100hz region) on 1340 both at home in South Central Indiana & in numerous counties surrounding here. That tells me someone might be off frequency on that channel. By any chance, is anyone else hearing that low pitched tone on 1340?

The closest stations on that channel are Bedford,IN, Muncie,IN and Springfield,OH in that order.

Bob, I am in West Lafayette. The off frequency station on 1340 seems to be straight south of here.
So it can't be Muncie, Elkart, or Springfield.

It appears someone at WBIW needs to plug in a frequency counter and tweak the frequency
with a screw driver.
