1340 WEXL Top 40 and Country Years

Hey Guys:

First I want to say THANK GOD WE ARE BACK!! I MISSED THIS SITE!!

Would anybody know when in 1974 WEXL dropped 11 years of country and went religious?

Does anybody remember WEXL being Top 40?

I saw this on the Michigan Radio guide web site and Wikipedia. I have been doing research on this and I can't find any info on both of these changes anywhere.

Thanks for your help.

T.J.

That should be easy to find. Sparks broadcasting did the change. I am trying to remember who the last Country DJ was. He locked himself in the studio and kept playing "one more for the road".... or some sad song with a title close to that.
