1360 AM

I was listening to WDRC AM 1360 between 11PM and 1AM last night and I could hear a station with Spanish programming underneath. Any idea who this might be? I live in Southington, Connecticut which is about 23 miles by car from WDRC's tower site in Bloomfield.

I doubt it's WLYN from Lynn, MA as they're only about 70 watts at night. Could it have been WNJC? They're 700 or 800 watts at night and they're an all brokered station.

I'm going to vote for WNJC.. I know things change over the years, but I think they *used* to carry spanish programming in the evenings.

Just because WNJC is actually LICENSED for 70 watts, doesn't mean that's what they're at. Now, mind you.. Im by no means claiming they didn't power down.. but it's known by DX'ers that stations don't always power down, so you can't count on that

It's WLYN that's 70 watts. WNJC is 700 or 800. Anyway, dude you must've forgotten I was friends with a DJ from a cetain brokered Spanish AM Station in Connecticut that use to run their day signal from 6AM-12AM and it's nite signal 12AM-6AM. I also know of at least 2 CT stations that occasionaly stay on Day Power when they carry sports.
