I was checking out 1360 am around 7:15pm and it was crystal clear. Around 7:30pm, all of a sudden, it sounded like a loud pop, then nothing but alot of static. I could still hear the show, but it was alot of static. What caused that?
Very likely the switch to nighttime power. It's 50kw in the day, which is great. It's only 890 watts at night and pretty directional. Unless you're in the right part of the pattern and near the transmitter, it's unlikely you would get this station well at night.
No. Just A bunch of Unidentifiable static.
Much like a grave yard freq. But not quite.
One time I thought i heard the beginning of a WS-
but it went bad again. SO i guess the farther you go north it
should come in.
