1370 KFRO History

Found this thread a little late...but KFRO was my first job in radio. 8/1/74-8/1/75 Great memories of the old Curtis building. Robert Scott did mornings, I followed him and Rick Randall (Mike Dye) did the night shift. During the day, we played music from the Billboard MOR chart. At night we played a little more top 40. Fun times.

Actually to quote someone that I know the KFRO towers looks like they were taken out dunked in the ocean and reinstalled. So with that being said I am referring to KFRO as a "her" because obviously she's been out to sea! The battleship KFRO !!! actually with the rust problem the battleship Texas may actually be in better shape even with the gaping hole in her!
