1380 AM in Northeast Ohio

West of Cleveland we have WDLW which has a very good Oldies format, but they are only something like 57 watts at night, and cannot be picked up towards Cleveland. So, on 1380 I hear an unlistenable mess of up to 4 stations all with noise impaired weak signals. One of them is WDLW. For the first time, I heard a foreign language station (Spanish, I think) fading in and out amongst the muck. Any ideas of who this might be?

My guess, looking at the different stations on 1380 with a Spanish format and their signal patterns, is that it could be WFNW from Naugatuck, Connecticut.

Except that WFNW has been silent since the ice storms there a few weeks ago.

Oh, I didn't know that.

Well, if it was the one from Little Rock or Richmond, that's a real good catch because they don't seem to favor the direction of NE Ohio.

WFNW doesn't favor that direction, either. I've never heard a whisper of it here in Rochester, even when the local 1370 has been off the air. Little Rock and Richmond both seem to get reported more often.
