1380 Baton Rouge

1380 is now on the air simolcasting 830 WFNO New Orleans. I dont know when they came on but today when I was in BR I scanned the AM and landed on 1380. The leagal ID said WFNO New Orleans/ 1380 Baton rouge (forgot the calls). The format is Spanish AC I believe.

According to FCC should still be WPYR from the CC days

And this now also brings Saints football in Spanish to Baton Rouge also (as La Fabalousa is the official Saints Spanish station)

Sooo... we can now look to 1380 for this top of the hour ID:

RRRRADIO UBE-DOBLE PAY EEEE RRRRRRRRRRRRRR...... all said with gusto and tons of reverb?

Tee hee

NICE! That wasn't intentional that my phonetic pronunciation would spell DOPE...made me fall off my chair from laughing!
