1380 khz Santa Maria ,1380 khz Salinas

I was in the Santa Maria area recently and noted a station on 1380 kHz. I thought of 1380 in Salinas ,thinking that isn't that far away. I found that 1380 Salinas is no longer on the air, is this correct ?
When did 1380 in Salinas go off and 1380 in Santa Maria come on ?

Was there a connection between the two stations ,like taking one off to put the other on ?

1380 Santa Maria is KVSM-AM. It is a new station that went on the air in 2014. The original CP was for 1360 but they changed frequency to 1380.

While I realize Radio-Locator.com is not the gospel, check this out. Is the station really on the air right now?
