Well, the temporary tower in Beaumont is gone and 1380 KRCM is off the air in the Triangle. Look for it to sign on at its new site soon. So much for the former KJET (as it was back in the 70s).
Guess Rent-A-Towertm wanted it back? I don't know, CW. An upper end AM with 250 watts and hideous ground conductivity should cover Shenandoah and, er, Shenandoah. I still wonder if Mr. McBride's consulting engineers know that a simple two-step plan could give him much more in the way of coverage for the relocated KRCM...
