Huntsville 1400 WWTM completes move to 1390 Mooresville

The display still shows ESPN, but Christian Preaching WWTM 1400 Decatur has completed it's move to 1390 now licensed to Mooresville. It also retains it's FM translator in Decatur at 94.3 W232DL. The second translator licensed to Huntsville at 97.3 W247AT has resumed operations as well from it's current licensed area only covering a tiny portion of the city of Madison. I am assuming that now that WWTM has completed it's move, 97.3 will soon move to it's new construction permit as well on Monte Sano Mountain, significantly improving it's coverage in Huntsville and Madison. I'll keep an eye on this one.

IMHO Good Move. Lower electric bill. A little less on channel interference for the few AM folks left. Also extra "room" for the 25 mile rule for the Huntsville translator.

I agree completely. The Huntsville FM translator wouldn't even be possible without the move. I'm just curious if they stick with the format once the Huntsville translator moves to the CP. It'll have a pretty good signal in the city. I don't think a move back to sports is in the cards with two other sports stations on, but the same guy reading scripture 24/7 isn't going to garner any revenue either. With a pretty good FM presence in both Decatur and Huntsville (once built) there's a chance to make a little splash and a little profit too.

It's owned by Brantley (reynolds/greath south rfdc, etc).. this is most likely just filler till they can lease or sell it
