1420 in Peterborough Ontario to go FM

The CRTC has approved the application by CHUM Limited for a broadcasting licence to operate a new English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking in Peterborough to replace its AM station CKPT.(1420 AM)
The new station will operate at 99.3 MHz (channel 257B) with an effective radiated power of 5,700 watts.
