1420 WACT Tuscaloosa?

Does anyone know what WACT 1420 in Tuscaloosa is doing, format-wise? Clear Channel shut down the 24/7 Comedy Network recently, and this station had been carrying the format. All the other stations that had been doing comedy have flipped, either to other formats or to the "Today's Comedy" network as an alternative, but I haven't heard about this station yet.

My guess is WACT might have gone back to talk. I'll check for ya tomorrow and report back what I find. :)

Sorry I forgot about ya. I just came back to the board today and realized I never checked WACT for you. I'm about 45 miles or so from Tuscaloosa (as the crow flies), and it's getting dark, so I'm not able to hear WACT right now. I will try to check it tomorrow, provided my 46 year old mind cooperates and remembers it. ;)

I will also try to catch it when I get back up to my station on Tuesday (If I can hear it in Livingston/Demopolis).

Thought I heard some Black Gospel on there today. This check, was in the west side of Selma, at my home Church.

RDP, I heard the black gospel last night, too, but I wasn't sure if what I was hearing was WACT or not, since there were a couple of other stations coming in on the frequency. I am listening to 1420 AM right now during the daytime and hearing black gospel again, however. A few minutes ago, I heard a couple of short snippets between songs...one which said "Give God the Praise", and another with "All Gospel Hits, All Day, All The Time", but no station info was given.

yep, that's it. Hallelujah 1420. I heard the station name a few minutes ago. There ya go, Zach. :)

Doesn't 1280 WMXB in Tuscaloosa air black gospel too?
