1420 : Your most eagerly anticipated new logging ?

The usual grumpy fare is present here on 1420, day and night.
I know: regional frequencies have become like former prom dates you see 40 years later.
Regionals must be like that for guy DXers, too, hi.

Daytime or SSS here, I'd like to hear WLIS Old Saybrook CT once more. It'd be the first time I'd ever heard them here in NEPA.

Nighttime? A nice 'K' would be welcome.
If not KKEA Honolulu, then I'd settle for something closer, like KTOE from Minnsesota.

Your fondest DX desores on 1420 ?

I would have put XEXX on the thread, but I was happy to nab them on Xmas Eve 2019.
Now I'll say KMOG Payson AZ (Country), the 2.5kw is possible at AZ sunrise. And I'm not counting out KTOE Mankato (News/Talk) either, as their 5000 watts seems to lobe WNW. However KUJ/KITI clog up the channel every hour of the night it seems. Get the 2 WA's outta here and it would be relatively open to the east.

I'd be very interested in hearing WIMS, Michigan City, Indiana

So would I, It's at the opposite end of the Chicago area. The problem here isn't what Radioman is experiencing with an adjacent channel. The problem here is the WIMS signal doesn't make it to my QTH. As a result, 1420 is pretty much vacant. If I hear anything on 1420 daytime, it's (what used to be) WOC.

Sometimes I can pick up KSTN, a small country station in Stockton. Since I live in the Bay Area, it's not easy to get a signal. 5 kW, 1 kW

At night I can pick up KITI, an oldies station out of Centralia, WA. 5 kW
