1430

While I was driving home to Northbrook around 10pm tonight, I was going through the dial and came upon 1430..(Which was off the air) I heard a Russian program kind of bleeding through pretty well. Since I speak Russian I understood it. Then I check 1330, because I thought maybe that Russian program was bleeding through ( since 1330 and 1430 studios are next to eachother). They were different. What station could be bleeding onto the 1430 signal while it was off the air?

Sure it wasn't WEEF running at weaker power? They only got 29 watts at night. Maybe it was running at an even weaker output.<P ID="signature">______________

As a sidenote, not does WEEF share studios with WKTA, they also share the transmitter site in Northbrook.

I believe the studios have been there for some time... The transmitter move is new. Btw.. they're currently on an STA for low power from WKTA's site. The app for the move has not been approved yet. (It's not just an app for a site move, it's also an app to change the COL to Wheeling and upgrade from a class D license to a class B license)
