1440 WNYG

I was just curious as to the current status of WNYG. I know that Art Liu was supposed to be selling the station to Erick Selgado. And I know that there was a CP build a new site for the station, but I heard there was problems with that. And I also heard that the station was off the air. Just curious if they are on the air or off the air. I was wondering because the Legal ID on Pastor Selgado's Radio Cantico Nuevo still mentions WNYG.

WNSW 1430 AM Newark, NJ
WNYG 1440 AM Babylon, NY
WXCT 990 AM Southington, CT
WBQN 1160 AM Bareloneta-Manati, Puerto Rico

I was at a friend's house and his idiotic parents were listening to that crap even with all the technical problems they were still listening. What up with that? Besides the obvious question - Who listens to preaching and teaching on the radio? The other question is - Who the devil listens to a radio station that was having a massive technical melt-down? It sounded like their transmitter was dying that day I heard it on at my friend's house. At first I thought they were having problems with the internet feed that provides them with Radio Cantico Nuevo (or should I say Radio Can't Make it Go Nuevo), but then 3 days later I had on the in-house Italian and Polka shows and they both were having the same problem.

Okay. I now see that Radio Cantico Nuevo has moved down the dial to 1240 WGBB. Unlike when they were on WNYG, they're not on WGBB 24/7. WGBB is still running the Chinese Radio Network 12 hours a day and other brokered programming. 1240 is the 3rd station that Radio Cantico Nuevo has been on on Long Island. They were originally leasing WLIE 540. Then they moved to WNYG 1440. And now they're on 1240.
