1470 XERCN History

Yes, was RCN de Tijuana an Radio Cadena Nacional affiliate until 1999 when the station change to La Kaliente

Hey Geda 1990:
Thanks for the info!!! This Mexican Radio History is so hard to find. UGH!!!

Would you happen to know when in 1999 RCN went to La Kaliente?

Thanks Tommy C.

RCN was old school radio throwback to the old school days featuring La Tremenda Corte, a cuban humor show about a courthouse. Also, they had old radio soap operas like Kaliman (a superhero with mentall powers) and Porfirio Cadena El Ojo De Vidrio (a gambler). They had some other talk shows and for commercials they used music from The Pretenders and Tommy James...for the music was mexican popular music. Alongside Radio Ranchito, was the favorite of grandmas and grandpas...i listen to it nearly every day as a kid because of this...
