The station was acquired by Grupo Uniradio of the Astiazarán Family, in San Diego the stations of the mentioned group were commercialized by Gates Radio and this was their web page that lasted between 1998 and 2004

RCN was old school radio throwback to the old school days featuring La Tremenda Corte, a cuban humor show about a courthouse. Also, they had old radio soap operas like Kaliman (a superhero with mentall powers) and Porfirio Cadena El Ojo De Vidrio (a gambler). They had some other talk shows and for commercials they used music from The Pretenders and Tommy James...for the music was mexican popular music. Alongside Radio Ranchito, was the favorite of grandmas and grandpas...i listen to it nearly every day as a kid because of this...
