15 years for HOT 93.7

At 5PM Friday March 16, 2001 Infinity Broadcasting blew up their version of the Jammin' Oldies format "Dancin' Oldies Z-93.7" and replaced it with Hip-Hop formatted "HOT 93.7". This finally brought stability to the 93.7 frequency which had a string of formats over the years.

Including NOAA Weather Radio 24/7! I understand the station -- then known as WLVH -- even showed up in the ratings with that format.

Kind of strange: Around 11:45 AM on Friday, March 18th, their HD2 channel played a song called "Never Be Like You" from Flume. It played unedited and I heard the "F" word a few times. Maybe I was the only one who heard it?
