I'm in Nashville...mainly listening along I40 from Priest Lake to Music Row:
with WLAC's IBOC off currently...I've been hearing a station on 1500 I can't identify.
the old WTOP used to make it it occasionally, but this station is programming hispanic music...
I don't know the music designations...could be banda? Lots of tubas and warbling horns...with ballad-like vocals.
Heard mostly betweeen 4:30 - 5:00am central...but I just heard it in the car about 9:30pm central.
Google searches point to Texas...or very unlikely...Georgetown KY.
Any guesses? Anyone else hearing it?
 
Definitely NOT Georgetown, KY. They dropped Spanish over a year ago and are now mostly R&B Oldies.

The dominant Mexican station is all talk (part of the Radio Fórmula family) and there is nothing high-power on 1500 commonly heard on 1500 from elsewhere in Latin America.

Given the location, I would suspect Birmingham, which fits the music description, although it only has 3 watts night power... perhaps a little "forgetfulness" in the power cutback area?

It isn't Georgetown, KY because that station is at 1580.

That's an all talk sports station in Spanish (ESPN)... there is about zero possibility that any station in this market would be playing banda / accordeon type music.
