1510 am

I'm in Southington, CT. Sunday night I was listening to the new Oldies Show on WMEX 1510 out of Boston. (Yeah they added quite a bit of Oldies programming). Anyway every so often WMEX would fade out and another station would blast in playing music that is much newer than the Oldies Music WMEX was playing. Anyone have any idea who I picked up? This was after 10PM.

WRNJ maybe? - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WRNJ

Does WLAC play music anymore?

Reason I ask is that we'd often hear WMEX and WLAC leapfrogging in the Long Island DXing days. WMEX would be atop more frequently, but WLAC could be loud at times.

Reason I ask is because WRNJ has a pretty deep null away from Boston at night.

Perhaps a Canadian station -- or someone who 'oops' forgot to drop power or even sign off.

No. WLAC is all news/talk. They stopped having religious shows probably 15-20 years ago, when Clear Channel got full control. Their morning show (5-8am) is Clay Travis from Fox Sports Radio.

Years ago, I would have said CKOT 1510 Tilsonburg, ON, Canada's last AM Daytimer. But if it was after 9 PM, it wouldn't have been on.
